If you made below a 70% without the bonus on the test, you can retake the Unit 8 Part 2 Test if you make corrections on the test.
For every problem that you missed, go back and solve it again correctly on your own paper. This will most likely require the help of another student, teacher, or tutor. If you would like my help, you can stay for my tutoring on Wednesdays 2:45 - 3:45. Once you have made the necessary corrections, I will allow you to retake the test. The retake must be completed by Friday, April 24th. You can complete the retake during my tutoring time, during an elective class with permission from your teacher, or immediately after school (ask me about the specific day that you want to do it). The first score (with bonus included) and the second score (no bonus offered) will be averaged together.
For example, "Robert" (we don't have a Robert in Geometry) scored a 62% on the test. He completed the bonus and earned 10 points pushing his grade to a 72%. He retakes it and scores a 80%. The average of 72% and 80% is 76%. The 76% will go in the gradebook.
I am offering this because trigonometry is an important concept that will be seen again on the ACT, Algebra 2 w/ Trig, and PreCalculus. It will also be used in some problems in units 10-12.
