Headland High School Math Teachers require Texas Instruments 30x iis calculator. It does fractions, trigonometry, calculus, and can be used on the ACT test. Most stores have it for around $20. If you buy it for 9th grade, you should be able to use it for the next four years.

For the Math portion of the ACT, I recommend students take the ACT for the first time after they complete Geometry. After Geometry, students should be exposed to 70-80% of the Math content.
