BB.1 - BB.3 on IXL.com give some practice problems that go along with unit 10.
Quiz 10.1 Topics: graphing quadratic equations (vertex form and standard form), finding the vertex of parabolas, deciding if the vertex is a maximum or minimum, finding the y-intercept, comparing parabolas based on steepness, and finding the axis of symmetry of a parabola.
This graphing calculator shows how changes in a, b, and c affect the graphs. It also has vertex form which shows how changes in a, h, and k affect the graph. https://www.desmos.com/calculator
Steps to Graphing Quadratic Equations in standard form
1. Find and graph the axis of symmetry. X = -b/2a
2. Find and graph the vertex by substituting the x value from axis of symmetry into the function.
3. Find two points to the right of the vertex and their mirror points.
4. Connect the points with a smooth curve.
